Ways to Make Your Kitchen Feel Brand New

Tired of your kitchen? Ready to rip everything out and start over? With the amount of time we spend in our kitchens, not just cooking but hanging out too, it’s wise to say that it is one of the most important spaces in your home. Of course you’d want it to be top notch! So, before you take any drastic measures, analyze your space because you may not need to do as much as you think. Just a few minor changes can help make the space feel brand new! Keep reading to learn about the ways to a make your kitchen feel brand new!

Paint

Painting your existing cabinetry is a great alternative to buying brand new ones. Be wary – not all cabinets are made the same. Be sure to evaluate the state and type of material of your cabinetry before you dive in head first. If your cabinets are fit to be painted, then check out our process:

  1. Remove all door and drawer fronts (creating a numbering system will help once you go back to reattach!). 2. Fill in all screw holes with putty (especially if you are using different hardware). 3. Lightly sand. 4. Paint both sides of door and drawer fronts. 5. Re-attach door and drawer fronts to the correct cabinet.
